Images From The Collapse Vol. 2
The education system in America is slowly falling apart, as the ramifications of covid, declining student enrollment, and lack of proper budget slowly rip apart the school systems structure.
The reason for this can vary, but in the case of Edinboro University, many factors have gone into the decline of the school. This has led to the destruction and tearing down of many of the schools iconic buildings and halls that have laid dormant and unused since the construction of the new Highlands dorms, a enormous project that rehoused all students living on campus into buildings that were rushed and heavily overpriced. The students feel the effects of this with rising housing and tuition costs. Yet as the costs of tuitions and art fees rise, the facilities within the art department for example have yet to be updated for over 30 years.
Edinboro University merged with 2 other schools in an overwhelmingly negatively reviewed move to unify the costs of running the public universities, becoming Pennsylvania Western University, a shell of an identity once proud and strong. The university now slowly becomes unrecognizable, as Alumnx watch the campus transform from the school they held pride in as an alma matter.
